Dr. Javier Gomez is a native of Mexico City, Mexico and graduated medical school among the top of his class at Anahuac University. After his internship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Gomez was a fellow in motility and neuro-gastroenterology and then completed his fellowship in general gastroenterology in 2012. After his extensive training, he joined Wichita Falls Gastroenterology Associates.

Dr. Gomez’s goal is to provide excellent care to all patients suffering from gastrointestinal, hepatic and biliary diseases. His area of interest includes general gastroenterology, endoscopy and colonoscopy; and diseases related to the abnormal movement of the digestive system.
